The first picture is of a street map I have on my wall. Taken with the 10x Close up lens filter hand held camera, about .5 cm from the map surface.

Same map, same distance, using monopod.

The difference is amazing.

Made pretty darned well. Would prefer nylon action rather than plastic, but hey it works. Just one thing I do wish makers of tripods and monopods would do. I do wish they would design the quick release plates for them all the same size. I will be swapping them out depending if I am using the tripod or monopod. Just takes a bit of planning ahead.

Like the fact that the monopod is less than half the weight of the tripod. Will make for easier lugging.

While trying to get my bratty cat to come in, I spotted this moth on the sliding glass door. Back lit by my kitchen, and a bit spooked by my proximity, the moth would not stop flailing his antennae.

Gnaw gnaw gnaw!

When we got there I asked at the counter how would I go about coming in without aikidomayland, as sometimes, I would prefer to NOT go on his schedule. I also check the route there, and my e-scooter can handle it without a problem. about 12k round trip.

My left calf was on fire again, and even though I know the 'pain' is actually nerve damage, it gets worse and worse to the point I just can't pedal the bike as long as I want to. I pushed up the weights on some of the machines by 10kgs. Except the leg press. Was advised against that, as the object of that is to get the outside of the left leg stronger, not to strain/sprain the ankle again.
